Created in 2000, Intercultura is a non-profit organization. Intercultura create and organize youth project with Erasmus plus program. Since april 2015, Intercultura is coordinating, hosting and sending organization of EVS. The aims of the organizations are : to promote intercultural dialogue and human rights education but also to promote the understanding between young people from different countries. And different countries. We use the tools of the non-formal education, we are engaged in the approach of popular education and international solidarity. Intercultura is involved in various field such as : active participation of youth, learning and intercultural education, citizenship and human right education. Intercultura organizes : training, meeting, seminar, support of local actors projets (associations, youth, municipality…) using methods of intervention based on cooperation… Based in Dinan, in Brittany, Intercultura has 1full-time and 2 part-time staff. Concerning the skills and expertise of the team: we underline the long experience in the field of European project management of different members of the team; several members of the team are also involved in training pools, such as Salto-Youth and the Council of Europe. Intercultura is part of the CRI (center of international ressources which is the union of 3 organizations about the topic of international mobility) which employ one young volunteer. Intercultura develops and publishes educational material, games about human rights and intercultural dialogue. Currently, intercultura is involved in youth exchange, training, strategic partnership . Some of our recent projects include : « ILTA » - strategic partnership (Action K2- Erasmus plus) – years 2015-2017 « Sharing » - (Action K1 – Erasmus plus) training for youth workers and youth exchange – years 2014-2015 « Les Ambassadeurs » - (Action K1 – Erasmus plus) training for youth workers Intercultura involve each year a lot of participants in his projects. The role of the organization is to increase the awareness of young people about interculturality, human rights and increase their curiosity.
